SUNDAY SCHOOL & BIBLE CLASS – Sundays at 8:45 a.m.

CONFIRMATION/ WEEKDAY SCHOOL – Thursdays from 6:45 – 8:15 p.m for grades 3 -8.

THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS –  Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

CHOIR – Rehearsals for the Christmas Cantata after the services on Dec. 11, 15 & 18.

SENIOR SERVICE & CHRISTMAS PARTY – Dec., 15 at 12:00.

ADVENT WORSHIP SERVICES – Please join us on  Dec. 11 & 18 at 7:00 p.m. for our Advent Service.  Supper before the service at 6:00. 

CHRISTMAS SERVICES – The children’s program on Christmas Eve – 6:30 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 24.  Christmas Day Worship –  10:00 am, Wednesday, Dec. 25.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM REHEARSALS –
     Sunday, December 8 from 8:45 -9:45 a.m. 
     Sunday, December 15, 8:45 – 9:45 a.m.
     Sunday, December 22, 12:00 -2:00 p.m.  We’ll start with a Christmas party & lunch at noon and dress rehearsal from 12:30 -2:00. 
The program is December 24 at 6:30 p.m.  Please be at church by 6:10.
 

CHRISTMAS MUG ARRANGEMENTS – Join us on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 9:00 a.m. to fill mugs with greenery, decoration and ribbons for the nursing home residents.

WOMAN’S QUARTERLY – For December is in.  Ladies please pick one up.

GRADUATE – Doris Schlutt graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelors in Applied Mathematics.  She accepted a job in Lansing, MI.

MITTEN TREE – Thank you to everyone that donated to our mitten tree.  We collected 177 items that are going to the Foster Closet in Bridgman and the New Troy Community Center.

LUTHERAN WITNESS – If you would like to receive the Lutheran Witness, please put your name and address in the church office.  If you receive it now it will continue.

STAFF CHRISTMAS GIFT  If you would like to donate to the staff Christmas gift, put your donation in an envelope marked Staff Christmas Gift and put it in the collection plate.

DONATIONS – The Board of Ed. would like donations of apples, oranges, peanuts and wrapped Christmas candy and candy canes for the gift bags to the children after the Christmas Eve Program.  Please sign the sheet on the bulletin board.

RADIO BROADCAST –  If you would  like to sponsor a broadcast, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board.  The cost is $150.00  Thanks so much for your donations to this ministry.  

FLOWERS FOR THE ALTAR – A calendar is on the bulletin board if you would like to donate flowers.  You can donate them in honor of someone or in memory of someone.  We would like to thank those that donated flowers in 2023.

HEARING ASSIST SYSTEM

We have a Hearing Assist System available.  If you would like to use the system when attending church please see an elder before the service.  You may bring in your own headphones if you choose.
 
WORSHIP SERVICE ON YOUTUBE
Every Sunday we will be broadcasting a worship service for you to watch on YouTube. The video link and worship bulletin are accessible from our church website.

RADIO BROADCASTS

Our local Lutheran Worship Service Broadcasts are now on WQYQ AM 1400 and 106.1 FM. (note the call sign has changed from WSJM to WQYQ but the time and frequencies remain the same for our broadcast) on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. The service also can be heard online at https:.//www.thenewquq.com or with the Tune in app on your device. To listen with Alexa say, “Alexa, play WQYQ” The service can be heard from anywhere in the country online. There used to be three services broadcast on Sunday morning and now ours is the only one. Sometimes the service is a little late coming on so be patient, it will be coming on soon.

 
PRAYER SHAWL AND CHEMO CAP MINISTRY
Our ladies are continually making caps and shawls. If you know of someone that would like one, please contact the church and we will get it to you someway. Many thanks to Carol Jallits for starting this ministry at Trinity. May God continue to bless this ministry and the awesome members of Trinity Glendora! Please continue to distribute shawls and caps to those in need.
