BERRIEN COUNTY YOUTH FAIR

the fair will be held August 14-19. Hope you can attend and stop by the Flower Building and see the wonderful entries that our youth from Trinity have entered in this building.

THE 2023 TRUDAT MUSIC FESTIVAL

Is Saturday, Aug. 26th at Christ Lutheran Church grounds and features contemporary Christian artist Bib Daddy Weave. Debbie Schmaltz will be hosting a Glendora group at the crosses on the hill if you’d like to join her at the concert. Bring your chairs & blankets. Gates open at 5 pm & music starts at 7 pm. There will also be food trucks at the venue. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from Debbie, at Parable Bookstore, or online at tickets.com (with a small fee). thickets will be $30.00 at the gate…so get your tickets today!

CONCERT -TRUDAT MUSIC FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Trinity Lutheran, Glendora will be taking tickets at the concert and we are looking for volunteers. Please sign the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board if you can help. You’ll get free admission to the concert & a t-shirt!

To Marilyn Mann for all of the hard work she does keeping our landscape so beautiful Thank you for the countless hours you put in planting, weeding and watering. Marilyn needs help August 25 – September 6, watering and deadheading plants while she is on vacation. If you would like to help her out, please contact her or call the church office.

100^TH ANNIVERSARY BOOK – We are ready to take orders for our 100^th Anniversary Book. Price is $20.00 and will be professionally printed in color, in booklet form. Order deadline is Sept. 14 and they will be distributed in early Oct. A copy is on the credenza in the hall for your review. Order your copy today!

EUCHRE – No Euchre in July & August. We will resume on September 19, 1:00 pm. – 3:00 p.m. See you then.

HEARING ASSIST SYSTEM

We have a Hearing Assist System available. If you would like to use the system when attending church please see an elder before the service. You may bring in your own headphones if you choose.

WORSHIP SERVICE ON YOUTUBE

Every Sunday we will be broadcasting a worship service for you to watch on YouTube. The video link and worship bulletin are accessible from our church website.

SUNDAY SCHOOL & SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS- begins again in September 14, 8:45 am. – 9:45 am.

Join us on Sundays at 8:45 am. You may register your child anytime.
If you have a child ages 3- 6^th grade that would like to attend Sunday School, please contact Rachel Palleschi, Holli Wood, or the church office. Please contact Megan Trojan if you have a child 7^th grade through high school that would like to attend classes.
Adult just attend at 8:45 am.

ROOT BEER FLOATS

After the service on September 10 please join us in the social hall for a root beer float to celebrate the beginning of Sunday School and Bible Class.

RADIO BROADCASTS

A new sheet has been put on the bulletin board if you would like to sponsor a broadcast for 2023. The cost is $150.00. If you would like to sponsor a portion of a broadcast, please sign up and indicate what amount you would like to donate. This is a wonderful ministry that we would like to keep going. Thanks so much for your donations to this ministry.

Our local Lutheran Worship Service Broadcasts are now on WQYQ AM 1400 and 106.1 FM. (note the call sign has changed from WSJM to WQYQ but the time and frequencies remain the same for our broadcast) on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. The service also can be heard online at https:.//www.thenewquq.com or with the Tune in app on your device. To listen with Alexa say, “Alexa, play WQYQ” The service can be heard from anywhere in the country online. There used to be three services broadcast on Sunday morning and now ours is the only one. Sometimes the service is a little late coming on so be patient, it will be coming on soon.

PRAYER SHAWL AND CHEMO CAP MINISTRY

Our ladies are continually making caps and shawls. If you know of someone that would like one, please contact the church and we will get it to you someway. Many thanks to Carol Jallits for starting this ministry at Trinity. May God continue to bless this ministry and the awesome members of Trinity Glendora! Please continue to distribute shawls and caps to those in need.
