Love one another”  What does that mean to us?  We love our family and friends, but do we have to love everyone?  Yes the Lord says Love your friends and enemies.  Hard to do, but with the help of our Lord we can do it!!!!!

NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING
Is July 9-13, 2022 in Houston, TX.  All high School Youth are invited to join us.  Please let Pastor or Megan Trojan know by October 1 if you plan to attend.
 
INGATHERING FOR LWML
We will be gathering items for Personal Care Kits for the Lutheran World Relief, they include on light weight bath size towel (approximately 52 x 27′), dark color, 2 bath-size bars of soap, adult toothbrush, comb, nail clippers.  All items need to be new.  Also you can make a monetary donation to help defray shipping costs.  Put your monetary gift in an envelope and place if office, please put other items in the box in the hall. Deadline to bring them is Oct. 10 Thanks.
 
FRIENDSHIP SUNDAY & NEW MEMBERS
Do you have a friend, neighbor or relative that doesn’t attend a church?  Well here is your chance to invite them to Glendora.  Sunday, September 26, Trinity  Glendora will be having a Friendship Sunday and we will be welcoming our new members.  it will be a special service, and we will have a coffee hour after with cookies in the social hall.  Members please bring cookies.
 
CHICKEN DINNER 
Will be held October 20, with a different twist.  We will only have carry out.  Please watch for more information.
 
COLLECTORS NEEDED
Would you like to help at the church?   Well consider being a collector.   Money is counted every Sunday after the worship service.  Please contact Susan Videnovich or Tabitha Winter if you are interested.
 
WEEKDAY SCHOOL AND CONFIRMATION
Begins Thursday, September 16 , 6:45 – 8:15.  If you have a child that is 3rd grade to 6th grade and would like to attend, please contact the church office or come on September 16 or if you have a child that is 7th or 8th grade for Confirmation Classes.
 
IT WILL SOON BE THAT TIME AGAIN
Trinity’s college/university students will be heading back to school in a few weeks.  We would like to maintain contact with our young people.  Parents, please contact the church office with you son/daughter’s address away at school.
 
WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bridgman, has invited us to attend.  Everyone needs advice from a professional!  For Wednesdays this Fall, the Life Team has planned opportunities to hear many speaker on subjects relating to our overall wellbeing.  We begin on Wed., Sept. 22nd at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation by Kraig Pike from Pike’s Funeral and Crematory and Julie Brugess from Michigan’s church Extension Fund on “End of Life’ planning.  The on Wed., Oct. 27 at 6:00 p.m., we will host Family attorney, Roger Petzke, who will present information on wills, living wills, Lad Bird deeds and informational handouts and door prizes.  Please call Immanuel Lutheran church at 465-6031 ext. 2 if you would like to attend.  In addition please watch for the dates for presentation on “Hunan Trafficking” and a women’s class in “Protection Against Sexual Assault”
 
 
NEW HEARING ASSIST SYSTEM
We now have a Hearing Assist System.  If you would like to use the system when attending church please see an elder before the service.  You may bring in your own headphones if you chose.
 
WORSHIP SERVICE ON YOUTUBE
Every Sunday we will be broadcasting a worship service for you to watch on YouTube. The video link and worship bulletin are accessible from our church website.
 
WORSHIP SERVICE
Our in-person worship services are at 10:00 every Sunday morning. Please attend if you feel comfortable. 
 
SUNDAY SCHOOL AND SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS

Has began on September 12, please join us.

  • If you have a child ages 3- 6th grade that would like to attend Sunday School, please contact Rachel Palleschi. Please contact Megan Trojan if you have a child 7th grade through high school that would like to attend classes.  If you would like materials sent home, please let us know.
  • Adults, we encourage you to attend Bible Class on Sunday Morning at 8:45 a.m. – – starting on Sept 12th. 
 
THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS 
Begins Thursday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m., please join us!!!   
 
WALK-UP COMMUNION
If you would like to take communion but are not comfortable coming to the worship service, Trinity is offering walk-up communion. It is a short 10 minute service where you will be with only your family or friends. Call the church and we can sign you up for a time. The Pastor will be wearing a mask, and you can also wear a mask but it is not required.
 
FOSTER CLOSET OF BERRIEN COUNTRY
Is looking for volunteers. It is located in the basement of Lake Street Community Church in Bridgman. If you are interested or to learn more information please contact Sandy Glossinger at 269-326-0870 or Linda Bickel at 269-422-1656.

RADIO BROADCASTS
A new sheet has been put on the bulletin board if you would like to sponsor a broadcast for 2021. The cost is $150.00. If you would like to sponsor a portion of a broadcast, please sign up and indicate what amount you would like to donate. This is a wonderful ministry that we would like to keep going. Thanks so much for your donations to this ministry.
 

Our local Lutheran Worship Service Broadcasts are now on WQYQ AM 1400 and 106.1 FM. (note the call sign has changed from WSJM to WQYQ but the time and frequencies remain the same for our broadcast) on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. The service also can be heard online at https:.//www.thenewquq.com or with the Tunein app on your device. To listen with Alexa say, “Alexa, play WQYQ” The service can be heard from anywhere in the country online. There used to be three services broadcast on Sunday morning and now ours is the only one. Sometimes the service is a little late coming on so be patient, it will be coming on soon.

 
ALTAR FLOWERS FOR 2021
If you would like to donate flowers for the altar in 2021, please sign the calendar on the bulletin board in the hall of the church. Do you have a special occasion or someone you would like to remember this year? This is a very good opportunity to do that.
 
ALTAR GUILD
Would you like to do something special at the church this year? Did you ever think about joining the Altar Guild? It’s an easy job and you only have to do it for one month a year. If you would like to help, please contact LaVerne Trapp or any guild member.
 
PRAYER SHAWL AND CHEMO CAP MINISTRY
Our ladies are continually making caps and shawls. If you know of someone that would like one, please contact the church and we will get it to you someway. Many thanks to Carol Jallits for starting this ministry at Trinity. May God continue to bless this ministry and the awesome members of Trinity Glendora! Please continue to distribute shawls and caps to those in need.
